John Wollberg is the Managing Broker of New York and New Jersey for Side. He brings to the role more than 40 years of experience and an extensive knowledge of the Manhattan market, where he facilitated the sales and rentals of more than 3,500 properties.
He previously served as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Sales and Operations at Brown Harris Stevens, serving New York City, the Hamptons, the Hudson Valley, Connecticut, Miami and Palm Beach.
John is a longtime active member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), currently serving as the elected Member-at-Large of the Residential Board of Directors. In 2008, he received REBNY’s Henry Forster Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to a real estate professional with an outstanding record of achievement, character and conduct. He also currently serves as the co-founder of the REBNY Residential Listing Service (RLS), the co-chair of the Members in Need Fund and the Deal of the Year Committee.
John belongs to almost every MLS in New York State. He is a New York State accredited teacher for real estate, specializing in classes on ethics and professional practices. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
